Writers' Group

We may have enough interest in our little corner of the world to start a writers' group. If you live in the the Frankfort, IL area and are interested in participating in a working writers' group, please drop me an e-mail with the following information. Your name (of course), your genre  and when you are available to meet. We want to keep the group small. If necessary, we will set up multiple groups based on genre. 

Remember, this is a writers' group. The purpose is to encourage and critique each other. Each participant will be expected to produce and share pages every month as well as participate in critiques. Harper is On-line...

HarperCollins is making it easier for its writers to hit the web. Author Assistant, a toolset to allow writers to create web pages, is being launched with 40 of Harper's more popular romance writers rolling out their pages first.  Here's a chance to read bios and see FAQ from some of your favorite authors.

Although we'd love to list every competition, agent listing or piece of industry news, we can't. There's a plethora of great sites out there and we suggest you take a look at as many as time allows. Here, we'll try to cover each end of the spectrum. The biggies which you shouldn't miss and the lesser known
